In today’s society there is much pollution that can cause an individual to become very sick or death can occur from the many atmospheric issues such as ozone depletion in our society. There are many things that contribute to ozone depletion in our atmosphere as well as indoor pollution such as radon which can cause certain cancers and certain deaths. There is also a lot of indoor air pollution which can cause the same issues to an individual’s health. The indoor air pollution I will explain is radon can affect anyone in their homes by only inhaling or ingesting radon can harm an individual’s body. I will explain these two pollutions such as ozone depletion and radon in my paper in how it causes and effects on an individual. I will discuss the efforts how these two pollutions to lessen or alleviate the effects of these two pollutions. I will also discuss in my paper a current event related to ozone depletion and radon as an indoor air pollution which exist today in our society. Ozone depletion, which is caused by human-made pollutant in our troposphere, it is naturally produced, is a component in our troposphere, it is naturally produced, is some 10 to 45Km above our surface. The ozone layer shields the Earth’s surface from much of our ultraviolet radiation. Many professionals such as scientist worry that the causes of our negligence has been the cause for more than two decades of our ozone to be thinning at an alarming rate. Many professional worry if this keeps happening life as we know it will disappear including humans. (2000-2013, John Whiley & Sons) The causes and effects of ozone depletion is that primary chemicals responsible for ozone loss in the stratosphere are a group industrial and commercial compounds called chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). This was discovered in mid-1970s by scientist who knew this was depleting our stratospheric ozone. CFCs were used in...
